Studierendenwerk Kassel has 23 student halls with 1076 rooms for students in Kassel and Witzenhausen. Living in Studierendenwerk housing is a great way to meet German as well as other international students. Single and double apartments as well as single rooms in residential groups are available. Every residential hall has a common room, a laundry and dryer room as well as posibilities to park your bike.

The Studierendenwerk offers expert legal advising for students at the University of Kassel within our field of responsibility and based on § 3 "Gesetz über die Studierendenwerke bei den Hochschulen des Landes Hessen". Legal advising is free of charge and available on Wednesdays all year long, both during the semester and semester breaks. Please ask for Mr. Schramm. Our <link psb_en.html>Social Services staff provide advising and counselling on an appointment or "walk-in" basis. We are bound to observe confidentiality.
The lawyer will advise you in German. If you need translations, you should bring a person that you can trust.
