For studying parents there are some special regulations with the study organization. For example, in most subject areas you can participate in the preferred dial-in procedure and as long as your children are younger than three years, you can take leave of absence.

In addition, there are alternatives to attendance for many lectures - such as video transmissions or sound recordings. It is best to inquire about such possibilities directly with your department.
