Studierendenwerk Kassel offers more than 1000 rooms and apartments in Kassel and Witzenhausen available to students at the University of Kassel. Living in Studierendenwerk housing is a great way to meet other international students as well as Germans. Both single rooms and single apartments (with bathroom and kitchenette included) are available.

Student Hall Adolfstraße 2
This student apartment lies in a quiet, albeit central location near the university buildings on Wilhelmshöher Alle. Tram and bus stops are only a short walk away.

Student Hall Hegelsbergstraße 22b
Located in the north part of the city, this apartment complex offers 10 exceptional studio-apartments.
Two students live in each studio and share an upper-level living room. The studios are cable and telephone accessible but come unfurnished. The main campus is about 2km away but is easily reached in just a few moments with the tram. Washing machines and dryers are available.
Student Halls Hegelsbergstraße 20/22/22a/24
These apartment buildings are located in the quiet northern part of the city. The main campus on Holländischer Platz is approx. 2km away but is easily reached by public transportation. The attractive historic building Hegelsbergstrasse with in total 129 rooms boasts all the modern living conveniences.
All 68 students living in the buildings 20/22/22a/24 have access to the backyard garden. Washing machines as well as dryers are available. Both furnished and unfurnished rooms are available.
Student Hall Kohlenstraße 105 - The so called Black Box
This apartment complex, which houses 115 students, is located in the Wehlheiden district. From here, the university is only a short bus or bike ride away. The Wilhelmshöhe train station, where you can catch the tram into town or the next train out of Kassel, is also close by.
There are 17 single apartments, 32 rooms in double apartments and 66 rooms in group accomodation. The rooms are completely furnished and satellite tv accessible. In the basement are two lounges/common rooms as well as the laundry room.

Studierendenwohnheim Max Kade Haus, Universitätsplatz 1
Das Max Kade Haus liegt im Herzen des Campus Holländischer Platz (HoPla), in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft zu Mensa, Bibliothek und dem neuen Hörsaal und Campus Center. Die Innenstadt ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar, Tram- und Bushaltestellen liegen ebenso wie Nextbike-Fahrrad-Verleihstationen nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Alle Apartments sind komplett möbliert und haben TV-Kabelanschluss. Im Haus gibt es einen Wasch- und Trockenraum, Gemeinschaftsräume und einen Aufzug.

This family friendly apartment building, located in the Rothenditmold district of Kassel, is only a few short minutes away from the bus stop where you can ride right to the university’s main campus.

Located right in the middle of campus, these apartments guarantee the shortest walk to class, the library, or the cafeteria. The Campus Holländischer Platz (HoPla) is the optimal place for tram and bus connections and the city center is just a 15 minute walk away.

In this just energetically refurbished and renovated student hall there are 72 single apartments. From here it is only a few minutes walk to the campus Holländischer Platz.
Student Hall Wolfhager Straße 12
Kitty-corner from the campus Holländischer Platz (HoPla) and right behind Wolfhager Straße 10, is the Wolfhager Straße 12 apartment complex.
All 72 rooms are completely furnished and telephone accessible. The students who live here share several lounges as well as a laundry room.
Student Hall Wolfhager Straße 12A
Directly opposite the campus at Holländischer Platz, in the courtyard of the student halls Wolfhager Straße 10 and 12, this house, completed in 2022, offers space for 26 students.
All rooms are modernly furnished and have LAN and WLAN access. The windows on the first floor open onto a wildflower meadow, and there is a roof terrace on the upper floor. Generously sized communal areas are available as meeting places for the residents.
